We stayed here to do the Schnapps Hike (Die Schnapsbrunnenwege). The place was beautiful, quiet, conveniently located near restaurants and shops, and the rooms were spotless! Can't beat the view overlooking the vineyards. Coffee was a nice touch in the morning. Wonderful experience overall.

We had a lovely stay here. It was tranquil, the owners were very accommodating, and friendly. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean and we had a lovely balcony with a view. The location is excellent for a home base to travel to hikes in the black forest area.

Very friendly owner who did everything to make us feel welcome and always went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Mrs. Schneider made sure my child was well taken care of, especially in terms of breakfast options and we were even able to make ourselves some sandwiches to take along our trips to the surrounding area. The location of the Landhaus was quiet and very idyllic. And by car it just takes 15-30 minutes to reach most hiking paths around the Schwarzwaldhochstraße. We would gladly come and stay again some time in the future.

Very comfortable and close to everything. Easy to communicate with the owner too.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Quiet and peaceful location with easy parking and short walk to the village centre. Very pleasant small garden backing onto a rushing stream. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
A beautiful apartment in a very quaint and serene village. We could cook and do our washing and they had a lovely patio for us to sit on in the evening. A beautiful location to walk from the doorstep.
Das waldhaus is only a 5-minute walk from the nearest train station. All the decorations and facilities look new and modern. The host took really good care of the place and the staffs are extremely warm and welcoming.
The extremely polite and welcoming hosts always ready to help with an enormous and friendly smile.
The coffee/tea/drinks station in the hall was super!
The option to choose our room from a selection of 3 available was a very sweet gesture from the hosts.
Lovely comfortable room with a large balcony. The whole property is light and spacious. Breakfast is served in a pleasant room and food is very fresh.
Our hosts were charming and helped everyone.
All in all we liked our stay very much.
This is a delightful small hotel in a quiet area of Forbach. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was varied and generous and can be taken on the terrace if desired. There is a pack lunch option for 7 euro which we took with us for the road and it was delicious. Free parking on site so a good choice if you are passing through the Black Forrest by car or bike.
Stay was super good. Property is great, have all you need for live and rest, everything is clean and in good condition, fireplace and barbecue to enjoy. FANRASTIC landscapes and hiking routes. Quiet village to enjoy atmosphere and beautiful nature all around. Host is awesome and very friendly.
