The location was perfect. The staff were very helpful, considering a small issue that needed clarifying at check-in. The room was was very cosy and clean. The shower was particularly enjoyable (strange to point out, but true!). Breakfast was super convenient.

Great location - very near to the city centre and the station. The room was clean, the bathroom very nice, comfortable bed. There was a (common) kitchen with basic equipment. The windows had blinds, so it was possible to darken the room very efficiently. Lots of sockets to charge devices. The plastic mat for wet shoes was a really nice touch.

I had a long and difficult journey across from the Harz mountains, a good deal of which was in the dark and without maps. The last couple of Kilometers was particularly trying in the rain. But when I made the turn in to your drive, I was greeted by the welcoming lights of the Hof, the stress melted away.
Despite the lateness, you greeted me, showed me to my room and left me to explore the lovely surroundings. It was delightful!
The room was large, the bed comfortable and the shower was such a relief! I wish I had been able to stay longer! I will certainly be back.
I was particularly delighted by the beauty of the classic Hof.
And the parking was so big and easy after the drama of the journey.

It was very neat and tidy.
When requested early check they got it ready in an hour and let us leave luggage there while we went out before the room was ready. We were waiting long time in kitchen area only when someone came there 1half hours later we were able to arrange this.

Everything about the flat was excellent. It was like home away from home. Stefan is a great host. Flat has almost all facilities. Even more than expected ones. If I ever stay in Detmold again, would like to stay in the same flat.
This is the best place to stay in Detmold! You can walk to grocery and bakery. It is a beautiful, spacious, and quiet place. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner in their lovely modern kitchen which had everything we needed. The flat is in a charming residential area. Private parking space for our rental car. The host was helpful, kind, and immediately responded to our questions. Excellent!!
Our daughter lives in Detmold and it was a 10 minute walk to her place and the park and opera house. We will rent this place again!
