We booked last minute and just so happened the only room available was the one with a balcony. Room is spacious. Very nice and very clean. Getting to the room is a little inconvenient – one has to get into the building, up the stairs, then through a door, get outside to a hallway connecting to another building (exposed to the weather), then up the stairs again. My poor husband had to drag our luggage up and about, opening many doors and climbing many steps to get to our room. I would not recommend [the balcony room] for older couples.
The breakfast is absolutely delightful and abundant. The hosts and staff are very pleasant.
The Gasthof also has a dinner menu serving delicious foods. We actually made sure that we came back for dinner. It is recommended to make reservations (for dinner) as the restaurant is popular with locals.

A fantastic new appartment in the Berchtesgaden area ! Aside the facilities, high quality furniture, and everything perfectly clean the host also suprised us with a a lot of fresh fruit, a bottle of wine, fresh beans for the coffee machine and candies, nuts, chips as apero .. Just perfect, it absolutely exceeded the expectations and very high value for money !!
Very convenient apartment in a quit neighborhood and very close to the city center. Everything you need is available (excellent bed, some basics for the kitchen and bathroom, great terras, easy parking, bike storage).
Also, connection to Salzburg is easy by public transport or bike (+-20 km or 1.5 hours on a very good bike route).

Quiet and intimate with spacious rooms featuring balconies overlooking the surrounding mountain peaks. Delicious breakfast served in a charming dining area. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Fantastic location - directly opposite the Reupertus thermal baths and a 15-minute stroll to the charming streets of the city centre. Bus stop right outside the hotel. As part of our stay, we received complimentary cards for public transport and trains, allowing easy access to Salzburg or Berchtesgaden. We would gladly stay longer!

The apartment is specious enough for two people, clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay (especially the kitchen!). Comfortable parking in front of the building, quiet neighbourhood, but in a walking distance from the city center, shops, train station and restaurants. The host is kind and welcoming - thank you for a great stay!
Great location for day trips to Salzburg, Königssee, Eagle’s Nest and nearby cute cities. The host was very nice and helpful, breakfast perfect! All in all - everything was as we expected and needed for four days spent at this homely and nice Pension. Will come again!
