Simple but very clean and comfortable accommodation, with efficient transport links into the centre of Prague. We chose to stay at Penzion Ve stoleti because the cost of accommodation closer to the centre of Prague over New Year was so exorbitant. We were not disappointed - Ve Stoleti worked perfectly. We don't have a car so we needed public transport options into the centre and the local bus was very efficient and reliable (with connection to the metro). The Penzion itself was delightful, with a lovely restaurant and helpful staff (providing a kettle for our room so we Brits could make tea!) As well as the bus stop, the little town has a station and a Tesco - very handy. We would definitely recommend Ve Stoleti if you want to enjoy Prague on a tighter budget.

Really liked it here, bit of a walk, though that is the area. It's time out in the country kinda thing.
They got a small kitchen there you can heat stuff up. And really spacious.
Petr even picked me up from the train station.

We chose to upgrade to a slightly bigger room and it was very spacious. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We could see the castle from our window, and it was a short walk up the hill to it. The location is very quiet and peaceful.
This small studio is in a quiet location and you have a semi private seating area. There are many local sites to see and the river is a short, but very steep, walk. Hiking is very good, even from the house. The bed and linen were really nice and the use of a washing machine was an asset. The host was responsive to our questions and happily provided restaurant recommendations

The guest house is located right at the foot of the hill where Karlstejn Castle is situated, so you get to see the impressive castle right from your bedroom window, which is absolutely wonderful.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the rooms were modern and cozy.
With a bit more attention to the cleaning of the rooms, the owners of this place can rest assured that they own a true gem in beautiful Karlstejn!

Nice and helpful service, quiet place right under the famous medieval castle Karlštějn. Private parking directly in the pedestrian zone under the castle next to the guesthouse. Sufficient choice at the tasty breakfast.
