The location is perfect for watching turtles swimming in the sea below you. Or go to the beach, speak with Mr Gami and he will give you an excellent personal tour.The route down to the beach is not so easy. Lovely breakfast,JP provided soya milk for me. The room was clean.The local beach bar (round structure) has the most lethal caipirinha cocktails ever!

Orietta Residencial is located in the centre of Mindelo, close to the ferry, the beach and restaurants. The rooms are in a nice building, everything well maintained and it has a cosy atmosphere. The host Carine knows a lot about Sao Vincente and Santa Antao. She shared many tips, and also was tremendously helpful and accomodating when sorting out a payment issue I had with my visa card.
Bit surprised we were given a 4 bedroom villa with 3 bathrooms. Was expecting a 2 bedroom one. Great location for the airport, and a taxi ride away from Mindelo.
Just fine for us as we were only there for one night before flying out. 2 swimming pools, although one is for children only as very shallow. Very quiet when we stayed 28/12 - which suited us, but was told it was fully booked for New year.

The room was immaculately clean and well decorated.
The guy that stayed guarding the hotel(Zeferino I think) was really nice with us and explained to us a bit of the local culture of são Pedro.
The Breakfast was fabulous, fresh food, omelette, fresh fruit, coffee and home made yoghurt.
We were really well treated by the whole team and the room was cozy and comfy.
The bathroom had homemade soap. And all is constructed with sustainable materials.
Always is rising or falling related to people, in this case the charming female host Carine ( ex Belgium) has done a lot for their guests, it was a pleasure to stay there on the wonderful beach and get all the hints to make the day, even her Chef makes so fantastic food,

Excellent host, JeanPierre is very punctual, very friendly, give alot of practical information, being French he is an excellent cook. It is on a walkable distance from the Sao Vicente airport, so you can save yourself this taxi cost.
Jean Pierre is the most welcoming and helpful host we ever met! We had a great and smooth stay with nice food on a great location. Highly recommended!
