Very friendly owner and sons, amazing value for money, good location close to the Fort and a big supermarket, plus a bbq grill restaurant next door (the walk to the historic center takes about 20 minutes). The room was clean, wifi worked well.

The location was great, and most of the staff were decent. We did have an issue with our stored baggage (left day of check out and then check in) and some miscommunication with the staff and subsequently they initially tried to charge us for this, in the end we didn’t get charged, but it was pretty obnoxious to deal with. They had free coffee available around the clock which was nice. There was a fairly decent language barrier with staff despite being in such a touristy area but nothing Google translate couldn’t tackle.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The facilities at namaste were really beautiful and made with love, from the beach lounging beds to the shell taps, the winding flowers growing up the buildings and the crafts built into the floor and hanging in the trees it’s really well done. They also host several retreat workshops through the day which made it very special and communal so that was great for a solo traveler. There is a regular boat bus arrive which can shuttle you to the city and back easily if you want to get off the island for the day and the food is delightful.
Nice hotel on Tierra Bomba. My room was absolutely great: spacious, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, all very clean, surrounded by big trees which gives impression of being far away in the nature. The beach is nice, sandy, rather long, not overcrowded, with a nice view on Cartagena. The staff is efficient. Daniel was very helpful, he called my next hosts and helped me solve some issues. Food was very good (dinner) in a nice open area, breakfast was ok. Transport to and from the island was very well organised.
We booked the suite with see view which was amazing and the best they have probably. Very much enjoyed lounging in our balcony and enjoying the sunsets from the private pool.
Staff were friendly but spoke no English. There were a few very cute and kind stray dogs that stole our hearts and never bothered us.
The pool area is very nice too, not too busy when we were there but at night it was very quiet, almost deserted.
Great, quiet location on the main part of the island. Accessible from Cartagena so great for a night or two away from the city. Staff always ready to help out and lend their services. Delicious, inexpensive food and drink (on site). Comfortable chairs for lounging and easy private beach access.
Lovely location if you want a relaxing time away from the busy city! The staff was always helpful and great you all the time. The music and the fire give the nights a pleasant time! Angela was a good host, and John at the restaurant in the evening was very friendly and helpful. I can't remember all the names but the boys that helped at the beach were very friendly and helpful! I also recommend the lovely Cabaña Playa!
The staff was amazing, generous and helpful in everything needed! The beach was very quiet and beautiful! We could not have asked for a better vacation!
