The location was great- a short walk from the lake and the road towards Ensenada. There was plenty of space to park a car. The property was easy to enter, with quick check-in and check-out. It quiet through the night, with no sounds from the outside such as automobiles or dogs, or from the other guests inside.

Ms. Gladys treats her guests with the utmost respect and love, she always makes sure you’re well and safe. She invited us to a glass of great Chilean wine and gave us helpful information about where to go in Puerto Montt. The rooms are comfortable with good equipment. Returning to her her house everyday almost feels like coming home! Gladys’ hostel is always worth a stay!

The apartment is within short walking distance of the town centre but in an elevated, quiet and safe location with private secure parking. The facilities in the apartment are excellent for a family, a couple or a solo traveller. Most of all the host, Maureen, provided clear information and instructions for our arrival and departure and was always on hand to provide any additional assistance when required. The service really is 5 star.

Very responsive and friendly host, and accommodated a very early check out due to flight times.
Great location in perfect walking distance to the town. Very friendly staff. Restaurant ambience could be improved but the food was good at dinner and especially at breakfast. Spacious rooms and nice pool and sauna which could be pre-booked for private enjoyment. Consuelo was extremely helpful to upgrade our room to a quieter floor for the second night.
Great hostel in an older house 2 blocks from all the local buses to all the locations. Situated on a hill with very beautiful stairs leading past the place. Kitchen is located in a separate building from hostel so you don't have to smell what everyone is cooking.
The nicest hostel I have been to in Chile, and I have travelled a lot through Chile. Large comfy dorms with big lockers, great common space to hang around and no less than 2 kitchens (one for vegetarians) with free fresh coffee, tea and cake (if you're lucky 😊). Staff are very friendly and Pierre, the owner, obviously cares a lot about his guests. Good value too - Puerto Varas isn't cheap. Surely hope to be back!
The location is great. Next to the city center, but also quiet area. The house is so beautiful, with the option to make your own coffee for breakfast. Clean and neat , beautiful furniture and so delightful to stay. Carla was a great host and super helpful! She was there whenever we needed her.

The location of the hostel is a bit outside of the city center, but we enjoyed walking along the lake to get to the center.
