This is a good place that could be so much better with just a little more care. It's in a quiet area reasonably close to the town centre and the host is very helpful. But it's freezing in winter, and you have to buy your own wood to keep the fire going. Which means you arrive and immediately need to go out to buy and carry firewood.

This hostel was very central and very quiet. We were 2 blocks from downtown. There were well stocked grocery stores a few blocks away. The kitchen had all you would need to prepare a meal. The owner was kind and very welcoming. Although she spoke very little English, she spoke Spanish slowly enough for us to understand everything she said.

Small hostel, just a few rooms and a dormitory. Our room was upstair and simple but confortable and clean. The whole hostel is very clean, including the shared bathrooms and the kitchen.
You have anything you need to cook, and a lovely garden to enjoy your meal or chill in the sun. The hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood but close to everything by walk (supermarket, bus station, city center and lake).
The family whose run the hostal is absolutely lovely.

It was a very good stay in the completly new hostel. Karen was super great host. She was always happy to answer questions and took care of every problem. she even drove me to the City Center.

Awesome hostel! Great location, close to the city center and the lake but in a quiet area. Nice and social atmosphere, great common rooms and gardens. In the garden are several cute and comfortable wooden ‘hobbit’ houses and old vans as private rooms. Great view on the lake from the treehouse. 3 kitchens. Friendly and helpful staff. Kayaks for rent. Social activities are organised and there is a bar, but after 11 pm is it necessary to be quiet to ensure a good night of sleep.
