The location right on the lake was priceless! Amazing to swim in and gorgeous views. Sunset and sunrise peeped behind the Alps. There are tons of common areas, several refrigerators for guests to use, books & games to borrow, and breakfast offered (15 ea). Laundry could be done by staff for a fee.

A lovely stay and experience! We caught the last cable car up which took us into the clouds… It was easy to find our way to the guesthouse just a 15 minute down hill walk away. The room was rustic but clean as was the shared bathroom. Very friendly hosts.
Good clean room, pleasant atmosphere around the hotel, good breakfast polite staff. Lake view room very much worth the money. Gersau is quiet to stay but the regular buses and ferries to other towns and cities is ideal
The self catering property met all our expectations, parking was easy and safe. Location was quiet yet
close enough to the towns amenities. Good base from which to visit this part Switzerland. Lovely hosts
and some nice welcome treats on arrival.
Wonderful reception, very comfortable, clean and spacious family room, and the restaurant provided our family with one of the best family meals we have had in ages. The proprietors and hosts could not have been more friendly and caring.
Charming hotel in a charming village on the Vierwaldstättersee. Hosts were nice. Free reserved parking just below the hotel. Good and fairly priced restaurant. Just 2 minutes from the lake shore and a swim (walk 250 meters to the right to find the park, from where the whole village goes for a swim).
