Gipfelrestaurant Fronalpstock is situated in Stoos, 1922 metres above sea level and next to the 4er Sesselbahn Fronalpstock and 6er Sesselbahn. Located amidst the Ski Region Stoos, the inn is only accessible by foot or via the cable car. One of the best locations in my life. Standing at the terrace and watching the sunset over Lake Luzern was just outstanding. Great, very friendly staff, together with delicious food. Can you imagine anything more?

Hostel Rotschuo Jugend & Familienherberge is located on the shores of Lake Lucerne just 300 metres from the next bus stop. The property has a common TV room, 2 fireplaces, table football and table tennis facilities. What an amazing stay we had. We swam tice a day and were treated like kings by the staff. So accommodating and friendly. they even gave us a tip on a ridge line hike in the area that was the highlight to our entire European trip.

Set on the car-free Rigi Mountain, Hotel Rigi Klösterli can only be reached by cogwheel train. It features an on-site restaurant and free Wi-Fi in the lounge. It offers basic rooms with shared bathroom facilities. It’s a family owned rustic hotel, very clean and cosy. The owners are very attentive. You could hear cow’s bells near buy, which I found very relaxing. Common bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast was wonderful
