We loved everything!!! The facility was immaculate from the cleaning to the decor. Very well thought out. The Front Desk team was amazing. Although we did not speak Portuguese, they were very kind and helped us with every booking or request that that we had. Always with a smile and a Portuguese thank you.

The breakfast was very good. The best was that it was portioned out pr person, resulting in less food to throw away.
Another was the hospitality of the staff and owner. After some misunderstandings they offered a very nice compensation for this, highly appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff made us feel like home. A special thank you goes to Amanda and Carla who were super friendly, always attentive to our needs, and sharing recommendations for everything you might need on the island. The place was super clean and we enjoyed breakfast trying out fresh Brazilian dishes. We were also lucky to receive an upgrade.

Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Very central location close to the bank, beaches, pubs, the fort, and everything you might need. I also really liked that with a small charge you could fill up your water bottle with clean filtered water as much as you needed to, which is so much better than having to buy plastic mineral water bottles. Katia was such a great host too; she made me feel very comfortable and at home.
The hospitality of the host Nancy. Very nice lady who always was able to help with anything we needed. Quiet Pousada and the shower and beds were nice. Every day clean towels and even towels for going to the beach if wanted.
It is an exceptional boutique hotel, not big, not crowded, with an incredible view of the sea, beautifully designed, and organized. If you want some luxury on this gorgeous island - this is it. We celebrated my husband's birthday and we were taken care of very well. We were welcomed by Allana who is a perfect hostess, professional and caring at the same time. Other staff members were also very kind and attentive to our needs. Nothing was a problem for them. We are very grateful for their effort in making our stay perfect.
Absolutely stunning location, set in a quiet and windy part of the island from which you have a beautiful view on a few inhabited islands and from which, occasionally, you can spot sharks at sunset. Only 5 mins drive from the village - I would recommend get a buggy. Service was spot on with a very caring and friendly host.

Suzi and Mauro were absolutely great hosts! Always available, kind and very helpful. The room was new, modern and well decorated. Beds very comfortable and the best airconditioner I have seen in long time. And I cannot forget the great breakfasts, all you need, fresh and tasty.
