Room was very cute with comfortable and provided everything we needed. It was little dated, but the Japanese styling made up for this.
However I would not recommend for any one with mobility issues as there were quite a few stairs and also the shower was over a sunken bath, which was lovely, but a decent step down.
Location was very nice, very quiet, ideal if you are looking for a relaxing getaway away from any crowds, However it was a little out of town and as we didn't have a vehicle we were reliant on taxis.
Our host was very helpful sharing local knowledge and very good dining recommendations.

This is a real hidden gem! The room is cool and comfortable. The bathroom was great- the shower is amazing! We enjoyed sitting on our terrace and using the pool. The garden is lovely. We didn’t really use the shared kitchen and living room, but they are fantastic!Really modern and spacious. We loved the coffee machine! This would be a great place to rent for a large group.

Loved our 2 night stay at the Beach Shack! Super cute boutique accomodation, in a quiet street, only a short walk into central Byron. Comfortable bed, quiet, enough space for family of 5 in superior cabin. Water park and pools were great for the kids and to relax. Great location just outside of main city centre. Friendly staff. Easy to navigate all park facilities.
