As soon as we stepped foot in the hotel, we were amazed by the warmth and friendliness of the environment and staff. The location is absolutely beautiful, with mountain views all around the hotel. We arrived to the hotel quite late after travelling all day so even when the kitchen was about to close, the manager extended the kitchen times so we could have a family meal. The food was amazing, with a range of traditional dishes that me, my husband and kids all loved. Furthermore, the room was outstanding with a view of the mountains, clean and tidy environment and quite and relaxing surroundings. The manager was lovely to speak to and since we haven't been to Austria in over 10 years, we were a bit lost on what we could do, so the manager gave us recommendations of what there is to do in the area and overall really made sure our stay was extraordinary. I couldn't recommend this hotel more, I would definitely stay again!

Great location for our needs of skiing on the Tux Glacier. October Seasonal challenges as we at the end of summer and the start of summer with many local facilities closed. Not the fault of the property and the snow was great up on the glacier. Monica the host was a star and engaged to be sure we were happy, organised and comfortable. The breakfast was great with plenty of local produce. The room was spacious and warm with all the necessary facilities you would expect for a skiing experience, ski and boot warming room etc.
We drove, but buses were constantly running up and down the resort to gondola and down to restaurants. The Tux glacier was great too
Haus Schönblick is located near the centre of Gerlos in middle of the impressive mountains of Zillertal Arena. There is free parking on site and free WiFi access in the entire hotel.

The best hotel breakfast ever! Great location, close to the train station and not to far from all that the city center could offer. We loved the view from our balcony, and could sit there for hours. The room was cleaned every day. The host were exceptional, and made us breakfast on our last day even if we had to check out early. She also gave us a very great tip for a day trip, to Stilluptal, which we really much enjoyed.
Great location near both lifts and the main streets but far enough away to be nice and quiet at night, lovely friendly hosts, very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
A great traditional Guesthouse which are becoming few and far between in Mayrhofen so I was happy to find this place. The host, Roman, goes out of his way to help and made my ski trip pleasurable.
For those skiing you quite literally just fall out of the guest house and on to the free skibusses.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. The hostel has such a great vibe. Plenty of other snow boarders to hang out with during the season. Rooms are chilled out and the beds comfortable, with the additional plus of a curtain for privacy. The bar is also great for hanging out and socialising. Highly recommend this place! The cheapest in Mayrhofen and a great location for hitting up Mountopolis resorts or those further down the Zillertal Valley.
The apartment and rooms were more spacious than we expected. You get an authentic austrian experience in this guest house. The host (Roman) was very welcoming and was always available for questions or recommendations. There was space to store our ski equipment and on the last day we were allowed to store our personal belongings in the dining area until after skiing. The center of Mayrhofen is 10-15 min walk and the apartment is very quiet, not at all bothered by other residents.
Charming property in a great location.
Very easy to find and includes private parking space. Very quiet yet very close to the ski lift and the village- less than 5 mins walk. The owner is very kind & accommodating and has thought of everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Perfect choice for a few days skiing - we loved it and would happily return.
Location- very close to Penkebahn (5 min), ski room, warm rooms, clean, host was really nice and helpfull. Very quiet villa, yet very close to city center. Spar supermarket across the road , apreski bar 4 min away. Kitchen very well equiped, shower great pressure. Really Really clean!
I loved the matresses, pillow and warm blanket , I slept like a baby (without any drinks) :)
