We stayed in room no. 6 (2 separate rooms with 2 double beds), newly renovated, clean, comfortable, amazing view overlooking the Traun river. We arrived early and phoned the caretaker, who came a view minutes later, parking in front of the building, cosy coffee shop opposite.

The traditional Kirchenwirt hotel is located next to the church and 500 metres from the centre of Gosau, amid the Dachstein West ski region. It offers fine cuisine, free parking and free internet.

The Braumandl family are great hosts, very friendly, offering sightseeing tips and helpful with anything. We came with public transport and the location is right in the middle of the city, the attractions can be reached conveniently by foot. We slept really well in the bed, nice clean bedding, a cute historical balcony and although the temperature outside was hot, the temperature inside was still nice. This is due to the thick walls of this historical house.
The house is located at a quiet location but only 20min walk to city centre. The house owners give the guest detailed introduction on the first day and will not disturb the guest throughout the stay but will be there to help whenever you need them. The room is super clean.

Our 6 night stay at Villa Traun was fantastic. Great location with a 10 minute walk to town, perfect host and a very tidy and spacious apartment. Happy to recommend to anyone wanting to stay at Bad Ischl.
The apartment is big! We were in 4 adults + 1 child and everybody slept very well. Renovated bathroom and kitchen and the apartment in general is very complete. The location is quiet and close enough to the city center to walk there and back, easily. Charming entrance with a parking place in front! Can recommend to anyone.

Apartment is in quiet part of the town, it has its own free parking space and therefore it is a perfect choice when travelling by car. City centre and train station is like 15-20 minute walk.
The host was super friendly and kind, but you better know some basics of German when talking with her. Or just use a translator and you will get along without any problems, no need to worry.
Very cosy and beautiful apartment, clean, great location, comfortable bed, quiet at night and morning so you can have a good sleep, kitchen has all appliances. The host is very nice, helpful and welcoming, check-in was flexible, communication excellent. Parking card for free was also a very pleasant surprise. Thank you very much for everything, it was a really nice weekend.
