An excellent place. The furnishings are a bit simple, this is true. But the hostess is lovely; she even made us a delicious dinner as we arrived in the evening and had to leave again very very early the next day.
The location is easy to find and there is secured parking on the property.

I also like the decoration of the house - traditional Armenian carpets, antiques and old tradition stuff / handcraft.

Our stay at the aghasu tun b and b ended up being one of our favorite parts of Armenia. Amalia (sp?) was a lovely host who not only was a great chef but it was very nice to get to know her and share our love of music together. There is a communal area where we got to spend the evening with other guests who were also very lovely and showered us as well with Armenian hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Surrounding area is very beautiful (don't miss Lori fortress). Amalias garden is also really cool!

Mary is a perfect host. Her house is located in a lovely place in the village. The room is nice, very clean and cozy. But most of all it is the meeting with Mary and her mother. Both give everything with a smile. The breakfast is excellent. It is also highly recommended to eat the dinner they cook. Everything is done with giving, and a loving heart. Thank you Mary. I highly recommend staying in their special house. In addition, the house is located relatively close to the beautiful monastery.

Mary and her family were the kindest and most welcoming hosts we could wish for. Right upon our arrival they offered us tea and refreshments and gave us various tips on what to see in the area.Their homemade dinners and breakfasts (served at a terrace with wonderful views) are huge and simply delicious, absolutely perfect after a whole day spent in the mountains around Haghpat. The room itself is very light and spacious, located in a house in the middle of a rural vegetable garden a few hundred meters from the monastery. In spite of our very poor knowledge of Russian, Mary's parents were always very friendly and open to talk with and fully accommodated all our wishes. We'll be very happy to come again if ever back in Armenia. Thank you! <3

Alaverdi is a must visit when you are in Armenia and we were lucky to stay in a lovely apartment in the higher part of the city. The host was super nice, very helpful, picked us up on our way from bus and managed to get us a taxi to Akhtala. The apartment was very spacious, clean, we had everything we need there and it was also very quiet location.
This is an amazing guesthouse in the middle of the mountains, with incredibly welcoming hosts who make you breakfast, lunch and dinner if you ask, all very tasty and made of local products (warn them if you don't eat too much, we could never eat all!).
They have animals around, there are flowers and the view of the valley is amazing. There are various options of small and medium hikes. You can have your dinner outdoor with a view and generally enjoy the nature.
For me itwas a great experience. Superfriendly hosts, Nune and her Mother take car of you.
The arrange Wifi, bring heater if Cold, make cheap and good dinner and a fabulous Breakfast.
3 Roms in a wild Garden, fast, a babydog and Pigeons are lovely if you like Animals.
Dont expect 4- Star Komfort, but in summary it is a perfekt Placebo to stay.
Lovely guesthouse in Sanahin, just around the corner from Sanahin Monastery. Rooms are really clean and comfortable. Host is incredibly sweet and will make you feel right at home. Very peaceful with a lovely yard to enjoy. 10-15 minutes walking to bus #3 that can take you to and from Alaverdi. Highly recommended.
Highly recommend. Great host offers family style breakfast lunch and dinner. Rooms are clean and lovely to speak with and learn about the local area. She has multiple awards in the dining room about the guesthouse and her hosting.
Lovely little guesthouse with comfortable rooms, good WiFi and hot showers. There is a common room with free tea and coffee and the owner is lovely. She owns a little shop that you have to walk through to get into the hostel and she gave us a handful of free chocolates on arrival ♥️
