The house is charming and very well cared for, and the rooms are nicely decorated, squeaky clean, and spacious. Very lovely family, friendly and attentive to your every need. In the morning we were treated to a great breakfast, with eggs, fruits, and local dishes, juice, tea, coffee included. Not to mention the nice view from the terrace where the breakfast is served. It is a pity we stayed only for 1 night, I would love to stay longer. The location is great if you are a pedestrian and a bit of a nightmare if you are driving a car. Getting there on narrow steep brick roads was a challenge, but when we got stuck, they came to our help, leading us through the street labyrinth. It is a short walk uphill to the castle, while the bazaar and restaurants are just around the corner.

This hotel is a rare jewel! it was definitely the most special hotel we stayed at in Albania - it truly felt like staying in an ottoman palace! Great location in the old quarter, right next to attractions like the Skenduli House and old bazaar but in a quiet street. The terrace is charming and has fantastic views. Maradone is the best host you'll ever met! Great location of the hotel + Maradona is willing you to taxi you to the old city centre. Please don't eat in the city centre, the best & most cheap dinner you'll find in the hotel :)
