South Merino is luxurious - beautifully designed and decorated, with comfortable beds, a generous shower and great attention to detail. We were also lucky to have a dark night because the star gazing on the farm is amazing! Although close to the N1, is very quiet at South Merino guest farm and we slept very well. The farm is also very safe and secure. We chose the option of Karoo lamb pie and salad for supper - it was delicious and much appreciated after a long day on the road. We also ordered ham and cheese croissants as padkos and really enjoyed them. Our hostess, Anneke, also very kindly tracked down Karoo lamb for us to take home with us, for which we are extremely grateful. We will definitely be back.

It’s like arriving at a castle settled in the middle of vines. Great big bed rooms & bath rooms. Clean. Stylish & Well equipped. Very helpful and friendly staff. It was more than I could have asked for. Thank you! I will definitely be back!

Külalistemaja Jakkalswater asub Kamiesbergi mägede nõlvade ja graniitkivide vahel, 16 km kaugusel Springbokist. A really wonderful place to use as a stopover to Richtersveld. Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable and beautifully decorated room. Breakfast was spectacular, with everything from yoghurt to chops and chicken wings, besides the usual bacon and eggs and cereal. Really a nice surprise!
