This was an unexpected stay in the area after car troubles but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! We stumbled on this farm in a panicky effort to find pet-friendly accommodation and I still can't believe our good fortune. The farm, and everyone on it, are fantastic. We were looking for a room for 1 night and ended up staying a lot longer. The cottages are incredibly comfortable, spacious, spotless, thoughtfully decorated and well kitted out in all rooms - the electric blankets, log fires, hot tub and freshly baked bread were amazing! There is plenty of space for the family, friends and furbabies. The setting is pretty spectacular - what a beautiful part of the world - and there are plenty of things to do within the property including fishing, hiking and birdwatching. Take the time to find the cranes, they're beautiful! A very big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our stay so special. Deborah, in particular, was fantastic and really saved the day, I cannot speak highly enough of her and everything she has done for us - it is so encouraging to know that there are such kind people in this world, who will drop everything to come and rescue complete strangers. Do yourself a favour and book one of the cottages, it is 100% worth it!!

The beautiful scenery of mountain and wildlife while driving to the property. The cottage style and furnishings are absolutely breathtaking. The decor reflects the nature outside. In the morning you are greeted by wildlife in front of the cottage and we were able to have coffee on the stoep with deer standing on the lawn. The area offers a lot of unique dining options but should you want to you can prepare absolutely anything in the kitchen as you’ll have everything you need.

Beverley Country Cottages ligger i Dargle i Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands, 50 km fra Pietermaritzburg. Der er gratis privat parkering på stedet. Værelserne har fladskærms-tv. Lovely large room in old farm house with great bathroom. Tons of atmosphere with beautiful farm surroundings. Were served a delcious homecooked dinner and breakfast in front of the fireplace by very friendly and profocient staff. Highly recommended.

Situated within 38 km of Harrismith Golf Course in Van Reenen, Oban Farm Stay Van Reenen provides accommodation with seating area. The location off the N3 at Van Reenen is eay to find and nestled in beautiful valley. It offers solitude and an opportunity to disconnect from a busy lifestyle. The breakfast was delicious. My walks from Oban past nearby villages, taking in the beautiful surroundings, were very rewarding. The host Thea and her team were warm, welcoming and accommodative as always!!
