Ilirska Bistrica
At the farm stay, units are equipped with a wardrobe. Each unit comes with a desk and a flat-screen TV, and certain units at the farm stay have a terrace. At the farm stay, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Great, friendly, welcoming hostess. Beautiful in-house (outside) restaurant which serves food until 21:00. This was a big deciding factor for us to book because we were arriving tired and hungry after a 600km drive from the Dalmatian coast in Croatia. And we were not disappointed as amazing food was offered!! They have a small stream running right under the seating area stocked with trout, so all freshly prepared! Along with fries, roast vegetables and a mixed grill, it was absolutely delicious! Great atmosphere listening to the running water. So glad we stayed here, what a find! Breakfast was an optional €9 each - but then our hostess offered coffee and delicious brioche for no extra charge!
Cerknica

At the farm stay, units come with bed linen and towels. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The hosts were both very friendly as were the other people staying there. Lovely atmosphere and we enjoyed sitting out having breakfast or dinner or on our balcony. Good value and we'd recommend it.

Tasty food, paceful place and very kind owner.
The amazing location in a remote village but easily accessible, the great view from the farm, the warmth of Orban who welcomed us at his home and the great selection of traditional food prepared by his mother.
We stayed at the tourist farm strl for one week with family (couple with child). The farm is a quite and peaceful place in the slovenian countryside. Very relaxing. Also nice paths for hiking around ! Breakfast is various and delicious including pancakes, eggs,yoghurt... The owners were always available for any request. You can also have dinner, very good cooking with local products. We received also some ideas to travel around in the region. In one word: perfect!
Lovely family-run place. The rooms are rather retro, but clean, comfortable, and very good value. Breakfast has good variety. The farm has lots of play areas for children, and nice places to sit outside. There are horses, donkeys and goats to look at. Dinner is available in the restaurant and is good value (€24.95 for three courses), and very tasty. Although close to the road, with the windows shut the noise didn't disturb our sleep, and the location was very convenient for visiting the Postojna and Skocjan caves.

Stylishly modern rustic and totally immaculate. Room enormous, vaulted with balcony. Delightful staff and exciting cuisine in elegant ‘glass’ barn restaurant.
We had a lovely stay at Tourist Farm Strle. The hosts were so welcoming and accomodating. The accomodation is rustic and has beautiful views. It is clean and tidy. The food was the highlight - prepared with farm and local ingredients. We celebrated a birthday while there and the hosts made sure it was special. We would highly recommend this farm stay as a part of your holiday in Slovenia.
Beautiful authentic farmhouse which is run by a lovely family and highly recommend anyone take a visit. We stayed 3 years ago on a trip from Scotland and loved it so much we had to go back next time visiting the country. You will not be disappointed!
