Featuring a garden, bar and views of mountain, Jelenov breg pod Matajurem is set in Kobarid, 43 km from Stadio Friuli. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. The farm stay offers garden views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. We would definitely recommend this place. Everyone is very kind and helpful. I had a sunburn and the host immediately offered aftersun. He also had some tips and advice for activities nearby. We had dinner twice here (typical Slovenian meals for a very good price), which was really good. Also breakfast was amazing. Ingredients fresh from their farm, their home made cheese is really the best. It's a remote location but also a beautiful place to come to rest. We really want to thank Aljosa and his family for their hospitality! We hope we'll have a chance to come back in the future.

Farm Stay Kranjc lies beneath the Mount Krn, at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level, just beneath Triglav National Park and only 6 km away from the historic town of Kobarid and the Soča River. Bike hire is available at this farm stay and the area is popular for cycling. Soča River is at a distance of 7 km while Triglav National Park can be reached within 3 km. Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is 110 km away. Great location, 10 min drive to Kobarid where you can find everything, great view over the mountain. Plenty of Walks around the house and especially "planina" (pasture) at the top of the mountain. The owner is very nice and helpful , the place is comfortable and clean. The outdoor area and it's plancha is a great addition to the house. Perfect !

We were very pleased with the accommodation on the edge of the village in a quiet farm environment. The possibility of feeding, the children were very happy, as well as adults. Garden is available. Very nice owners and delicious bee products.
It was pristine! Our favorite lodging of a 2 week trip! Great value , and excellent farm fresh food for breakfast. What a treat for our patio to look out on an apple orchard! Our hosts were delightful.

Genuine hospitality from the heart, lovely home cooked meals & baked goodies - only already for the banana cake I would come here again :-) great location in middle of nature, near Matajurem mountain top (fairly easy hike), superfriendly guest family who run/own this guesthouse. This is a good example how a small sized animal farm is intertwined with hospitality/tourism.
Far beyond our expectations. The location was on an idyllic place, in the mountains. The family that managed the farm made us feel very welcome, as well as Ayla the dog and the other animals :) we've also received super hiking-tips from Aljosa. Charming guesthouse, the food was delicious and all fresh selfmade from the farm. Hope we'll come back someday!

Set in the mountains,, this farmstay is warm and cosy. The family room had a private bathroom. There were bunk beds for the kids. There is enough parking on site. The little suite could easily fit 5 people. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The home cooked food is very tasty (5 courses) and sourced from their farm. Our kids loved the animals on the farm.
This farm stay is truly a gem. The dinner, location, and hospitality are exceptional and reason to redirect your travels here...you won't want to leave... :)
