Very engaging and welcoming hosts.

Little Red School House is a recently renovated farm stay in Oamaru, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. I only stayed three days here, but I still think about it all the time. Driving through the golden-green hills--arriving at a tiny century-old renovated schoolhouse, with lots of breakfast foods provided--and there are hot tubs out on the deck! And chickens for friends, giving egg-presents! I felt totally spoiled. Best of all, I went on a hike on their incredible on-site farm track--one of the more stunning walks of my life, and that was the case even when a fog came down, and I had to be rescued by Nic! Which was its own whole adventure. I hope to be able to go back someday. Meanwhile, please enjoy it for me.

Michael and Jasmine are totally friendly and lovely people. The house with the huge garden is amazing. It is so peaceful when the birds sing and the water flows. We booked a dinner and it was delicous. Jasmine is really great at cooking and we got an overwhelming breakfast. They fulfilled everything we have asked for. It was a really great stay and we absolutely recommend it!

We had an amazing four nights at River Song. Everything exceed our expectations. The Truck Home provided both novelty value, but was also very comfortable, clean, and cosy. The kitchen was great to cook in and well equipped. The farm and gardens were so relaxing, and we just wanted to spend all our time relaxing there. Lisa and Geoff were lovely and knowledgeable hosts. We couldn’t recommend enough.

The host was lovely and very help full. The cottage was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The hot-tub was fun. The surrounding beautiful.

The Lavender beds greet you as you enter the gates, quite magnificent. Cabin fully equipped , very pretty and comfortable. Set in a lovely garden with fruit trees and Mountain views. Outdoor hot tub and sauna. Hosts really helpful and welcoming. Slept really well. Amazing experience, would have loved to stay longer.

The cottage was very comfortable, warm and cozy. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and most importantly very helpful. The 4WD farm tour is must-do, the views you’ll never get to see.
