Historic Shearers Quarters asub Ruahines. Talumajutusel on tasuta eraparkla ning privaatne sisse- ja väljaregistreerimine. Talumajutusel on mäevaade ja piknikuala. Set in a beautiful, peaceful, rural location. No microwave or shower, but the oven with all the pots and pans, and the bath with ample hot water, did the job equally as well and more authentic. Had an interesting chat with Bunny, who has been there all his very interesting life and which has been captured in a very interesting book. Managed a few chapters but will return for 2 nights within 12 months to finish the rest. I also enjoyed chatting to James the farm manager, a very friendly and amiable person. Good, honest country folk. The time there was one of those memorable experiences that I will always treasure.
