It's a beutiful farm situated in such a gorgeous valley with mouintains, sheeps and little lake. The nature itself is an experience you will never forget. And the silence around it's so calming. The accomodation itself is very nice too, comfortable and clean. Only regret is that we didn't ask if we can cuddle the sheeps. They were so cute...

Great breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, and two very friendly and cute dogs in the yard. :)

The guesthouse is in a stunningly beautiful location, with views across a beautiful valley. The rooms are very simple but tasteful, and bathrooms are shared, but everything is sparkling clean. There are just a few rooms, and there is a cozy sitting area. This is truly a farmhouse stay, run by the couple who own the farm.
An old farmhouse with a lot of charme, a very scenic location. Cozy and clean room with bathroom, a very family atmosphere and a very nice and friendly owner. In the evening there is a homemade soup for everyone, in the morning a typical Icelandic breakfast with home-baked bread, homemade waffles and many other things. There is also a hot pot behind the house. We felt very comfortable. We recommend.
Narfasel Farmhouse was the perfect size and location for our family of 4. It had all the amenities, comfortable beds, the kids loved sleeping in the loft. Asta and Filip were super responsive—one of our scheduled tours was canceled due to weather and they helped us find new plans which turned out to be amazing (hiked Glymur waterfall 10/10!). I highly recommend the farmhouse as a stop in Iceland!
Beautiful farmhouse guest house with 3 bedrooms, each for 2 people, and a well stocked kitchen and living room.
It was a quaint farmhouse overlooking the valley full of sheep and lambs with the mountains in the background. While the home has been renovated, it maintained it's country feel. Ideal location for traveling through the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and the West Fjords. Great breakfast to start your day. Good kitchen facility for cooking dinner if you choose to do that.
We particularly enjoyed the warm welcome from the host. He provided a bounty of homemade, traditional foods, with explanations of each, for the guests to eat together at the large farmhouse table.
Nice rooms and farm house. Very nice hosts. Can highly recommend staying here.

Sæmundur is the best host ever! Very interesting conversations surrounded by historical atmosohere and smell of Sæmundur's waffers. His grand daughter Emilie was very helpfull and serviceminded too. Location is perfect to visit nearby Hraunfoss and Barnafoss as well for hiking trips. We will definetily stay again in this old farmhouse.
