We had a very pleasant time at The Manor Pen on the New Year’s Eve. We were looking for a quiet place trying to avoid fireworks as our little dog is terrified of them. It was perfect, quiet and cozy, with a well equipped kitchen where we managed to prepare a nice meal.

The setting was beautiful, in gorgeous lush countryside with sheep in the next field. We stayed in the hut and the facilities were across the way. There was a lovely lake view and plenty of seating to enjoy it. It was so comfortable and the host was helpful with great suggestions to make our stay more enjoyable.
