Absolutely beautiful place to stay for a weekend getaway or for a few days to explore Dartmoor National Park and surrounding areas. Room was very clean and well equipped, beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was delicious with stunning views. The owner (Alison) was very pleasant and friendly. We would definitely return to this property for another stay.

Couldn't of been happier. Such a lovely quiet place to have a relaxing weekend. The cottage is stunning and impeccably clean (and I'm OCD) and it had absolutely everything we needed inside and out. I also made 2 little mates that greeted me outside a lot.... 2 wee kitty's 😺😁 very friendly. Paul met us outside when we got there and was super friendly and polite! Always at the end of the phone if we needed anything at all which was very comforting as we had never been to holsworthy before. We met his dad too who was also lovely and we had a nice chat. Really nice family and made us feel super super welcome! Would go back in a heartbeat, I didn't want to leave!

Location was so beautiful and peaceful. Stunning area. Prior to arrival the host, Angelina, sent very clear driving instructions which helped to locate the farmhouse. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was amazing! I will definitely return! Excellent location for peace and quiet or a good place to relax after hikes on the moors.

Situated in south Devon and less than 4 miles west of the estuary town of Salcombe, Burton Farmhouse is a 15th Century farmhouse. Set on a 365 acre sheep farm it offers free on-site parking. had a lovely stay although it was to short. lovely comfy bed I must say.
