The cottage is stunning and impeccably clean (and I'm OCD) and it had absolutely everything we needed inside and out. I also made 2 little mates that greeted me outside a lot.... 2 wee kitty's 😺😁 very friendly. Paul met us outside when we got there and was super friendly and polite! Always at the end of the phone if we needed anything at all which was very comforting as we had never been to holsworthy before. We met his dad too who was also lovely and we had a nice chat. Really nice family and made us feel super super welcome! Would go back in a heartbeat, I didn't want to leave!

Situated in Lydford, within 3.7 km of Lydford Castle and 18 km of Launceston Castle, Holdstrong Farmhouse features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The property is located 25 km from Morwellham Quay, 30 km from Cotehele House and 35 km from Castle Drogo. Location was so beautiful and peaceful. Stunning area. Prior to arrival the host, Angelina, sent very clear driving instructions which helped to locate the farmhouse. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was amazing! I will definitely return! Excellent location for peace and quiet or a good place to relax after hikes on the moors.

Lovely Farmhouse - beautiful, rural setting. Clean, comfortable rooms in a really peaceful location. Delicious breakfast - cooked to order. Lovely to see the happy free-range hens. The hosts - Sue & John & their adorable little dog 'Smudge' were very welcoming & hospitable. Hope to return & would definitely recommend. Thank you!
Super farmhouse with really lovely hosts. Breakfast each morning was sublime - locally sourced ingredients beautifully prepared to order. Very attractive room with smart, modern bathroom. Small village with excellent local pub, walkable from the property. Very rural location with small lanes to access property. Nice walks on the doorstep.
Absolutely gorgeous property in a beautiful, rural location. Mincombe Barn B&B has been thoughtfully created with lovely little touches added, such as soaps, soft robes, shortbread biscuits and more. We were absolutely delighted to stay in such a gorgeous place, and for a very reasonable price. Martine, the owner, was very helpful and also provided delicious breakfasts using produce from the farm.
Location was beautifully rural and peaceful. Decor was smart, new and stylish. An ‘old’ Devon farmhouse that has all the modern comforts but retained its traditional charm.
Quiet location, but with farmhouse and chalets very close, so you didn't feel isolated. Quite well equipped and bed comfortable. Parking plentiful. Plenty of hot water. Heating is available and we had to use as there in April and was quite cold weather. Probably about 10 minutes drive from Ilfracombe and Combe Martin and 25 minutes from Barnstaple, and about 20 minutes from Woolacombe/Mortehoe. Lynton and Lynmouth probably 30 minutes away.
