The farm is surrounded by beautiful scenery, including mountains, plantations, and indigenous forests. We were greeted by an attentive host who also spoiled us with free-range eggs, avocados, and oranges from the farm. The chalet is well-equipped and furnished.
My stay exceeded my expectations, the apartment was beyond comfortable and relaxing. The view off the deck took my breath away every time I gazed upon it. The Owner was simply awesome, having made a fire (unlimited fire wood provided) and put out fresh eggs and avos from the farm for a morning snack.
The farm is beautiful and peaceful. Our rooms were clean and our wonderful hosts provided us with everything we would need, even some homemade bread, jam and butter! Perfect for summer and winter

the place is beautiful! I really wished we booked additional nights there as this is picture perfect luxury meets farm stay, the place was tranquil, well kept and true value for money. will not forget this and will be back :)
the rooms are spacious, clean and equipped will everything you need for work or for a getaway, it is situated outside the town and offers a quiet surrounding.
We stayed in the cosy rustic cottage (front). The cottage had everything we needed and is situated in the most beautiful setting. Stanford Lake is a place for nature lovers and you will spend more than outside exploring the farm and lake than inside the cottage irrespective whether it is raining in Magoebaskloof or not. Stanford Lake has an amazing atmosphere and is a pleasant break away from the city life.
The Stables was a spacious, chic and peaceful double-storey farmhouse in a garden in a plantation with a lake. Well equipped for power outages with inverter and gas stove
