Absolutely surreal! Walking into this place honestly felt like entering another world, every step there was something new to look at in total awe. The garden walkways, the animals, the pool, the ocean view, the hobbit bar!!
The attention to detail feels like that of a $1000 per night stay and is exactly the kind of tranquility I was hoping to find on Madeira.

This cozy apartment went beyond our expectations. It had all that was necessary other than being equipped with peculiar furniture. We really loved the peaceful atmosphere of the small town of São Vicente. The apartment also has a pool and an outside space immersed in the nature.
Leonel has been very helpful providing all the information needed and giving us interesting tips for visiting the area, and was very kind as well to give us a taste of his Madeira wine. Very recommended 😊

Owners are supper nice. We recived a bucket of fruits at our arrival. There was also private parking. Our apartment was nice and clean with great terrace outside with sea view. Apartmant is placed above their banana trees, you are also able to walk around their fruits garden.

Quinta Terezinha is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base to discover the island. The host Laura was so friendly and was really useful in providing information for the shops, restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse was lovely with comfy beds, a great shower and really clean. We didn't really make the most of the outdoor areas, but there are hammocks, a barbeque and sun loungers all with amazing views. As others have mentioned, you will likely become the owner of a couple of cats for your stay which we loved. On arrival, Laura had prepared a welcome hamper with some local exotic fruits, ground coffee and a bottle of Madeira Wine which was a lovely touch. If you run out or want any more fresh produce from the farm then the instructions are to just help yourself. What an amazing stay - just wish we could have stayed longer.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Excellent value for money and exactly what it says on the tin - nice view, friendly owner, very rural. Lovely cafe (Gato Legal) 15 mins walk away (very uphill). Views at the lighthouse are great. Good base if you want to go for walks on the west coast. Restaurants are a fair walk away but very authentic. Very laid back.
nice small hotel in a lovely location, beautiful garden, view from window is wonderful, lots of details like fresh flowers and decoration. There is also a mini farm with rabbits, hens and ducks.
Breakfast is kept in the fridge in the house itself, which is very convenient.
There is also a pool, but in may it was still very cold.
Location was fantastic. Property and pool were great. Super Levada walk down the road. Wonderful rural location which is what we were after (may not suit everyone).
La senhora Ana Lucia is a very warm and gentle person.She and her husband take care of the farm and the holiday houses which results in a beautiful,clean and quiet surrounding.perfect as a holiday retreat.
