We had a lovely stay at Quinta de Santa Clara. The property boasts a large, scenic territory with a beautiful garden featuring fresh lettuce, sweet oranges, and lemons to brighten your day. Although we visited in January and couldn’t use the pool, it’s there if you’re visiting during warmer months! The house has a modern design, great facilities, and a comfortable bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. They also provide extra towels for outdoor use and visits to thermal baths, which was a thoughtful touch.
Excellent location, conveniently close to everything you need—airport, great restaurants, stunning natural attractions, supermarkets, and more. The property is close to the city center yet feels very private and secluded.
A highlight for us was the shared laundry area with a washing machine and dryer—an absolute lifesaver after messy winter adventures in the Azores (if you know, you know). Paolo was an incredibly attentive and helpful host, quickly arranging a rebooking for us when our flights to and from Flores Island were canceled. He was readily available both onsite and online to assist with any questions or requests.
And the cherry on top: charming, funny, and very friendly 9-month-old Saint Bernard named Winnie, the owners’ adorable little big and very good boy who made our stay even more delightful:)

Everything about Quinta dos 10 is sheer perfection—10 out of 10 without question! The design is fresh and stylish, with practical touches that are both functional and beautiful. The location is superb, offering stunning views and even a green parking area. Modern convenience abounds: you can open the gates and doors directly from your smartphone. Ana, the host, is an absolute gem. We arrived late on Christmas Eve, and while the city was closed tight the next morning, Ana had thoughtfully stocked the villa with eggs, cheese, and other essentials. She even went above and beyond to return some items we forgot in the closet by delivering them to the reception of our next hotel. Outstanding hospitality!

Everything!! Filipe was the best! Assisting before and getting us settled in. Location was great- walking distance to restaurants. Quick taxi ride to city center. Grounds and villas accommodate whole family -pool, outside eating area (which they set up for take out dinner), gardens and pineapple farm across street with a fabulous tour also by Filipe. So accommodating with us and the baby. Clean and relaxing. Will be back!!
Wow ! This place was amazing, for our honeymoon this was the place to be. Close to all the restaurants with easy access to the airport and highways out of town to go to all the excursions around the island. We made most of our meals at the apartment and we had everything we needed. Stores are near by to get supplies and the farmer’s market is the best for fresh produce only a 10 minute walk. It felt just like home! Duarte the host was there for anything we needed. Clean with comfortable beds, better than a five star hotel!
We were able to find everything we needed inside the apartment. We had the family room which was very spacious. Check in and out and communication with owner was super easy. And we loved the location - everything reachable by foot and a farmers market right around the corner!
Everything! It's a fairytale equestrian farm and the apartment/house is really big and very homely. We loved the surrounding and the two dogs coming to visit us every day. Everything was very uncomplicated.
Everything you need was available. The host showed great care if everything was ok. We received a compliment from the owner both upon arrival (a bottle of wine), during our stay (with a bunch of bananas grown on his own farm), and he personally accompanied us while driving away. There was a problem with the washing machine during the stay, it did not work. It was fixed. And while the washinh machine were being repaired, the clothes were washed by the owner.
Beautiful vacation apartment located on a former pineapple farm with very good facilities and a beautiful garden all around. The sea is not far and can be seen from the pool! Very nice and helpful host. Highly recommended!
The place was really nice, a beautiful pineapple farm house. It has a big garden and well maintained. The room was clean. It has a parking lot. It's close to Ponta Delgada city center - 10 minutes drive. The staff is helpful and kind.
