The location is beautiful situated in a big exotic garden including fruit trees and a vegetable garden. Harvested products including fresh eggs are put in the communal kitchen for the guest to use. Quinta da Moscadinha is a peaceful and beautiful sanctuary.The house itself is lovely and despite its age is very comfortable. The garden and pool are great for relaxing after a day of activity. The Quinta is a good location for accessing hiking trails at Pico do Arieiro, Sao Lourenco and Larano as well as the airport.

This is by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at. The apartment was extremely clean and looked amazing - we especially loved the view through our glass door from where you could see the entire valley. The outside facilities like the pool and the garden as well as the terrace could not be more perfect. We were amazed how much work is put into all the little details.
The location is perfect, a little bit up the hill right in São Vicente. You have an incredible view of the village and the mountains but you are at the same time in walking distance from the centre of the town and the ocean.
Leonel and Elda are the most amazing host we have ever met - they made us feel welcome from the first second and gave us some very useful recommendations for our trip. He also arranged for us to rent a car which worked perfectly. We really loved the selfmade wine and fresh eggs.
This place is very unique we enjoyed it so much that we did not want to leave. We are hoping to come back soon to this wonderful place!

Amazing property, exceptional hosts(Filomena & Pedro) & lovely staff. Pedro is an avid gardener & it shows. Very clean little Casa, well equipped, good breakfast ingredients (self cooking). Also very close to a levada for walks. My only regret is that we only stayed here 3 nights.
