The Breakfast was Fantastic, The Host was Amazing and the Location was great. With out A shadow of A doubt I couldn't recommend Quinta dos Lameiros enough. The rooms were spotless and super comfy and located in A very rural and secure compound, it was one of the Best Quest Houses I have stayed in on A 12 day trip of Portugal.

We loved our stay! Victor and Helena are wonderful hosts, with the rare and perfect balance of always being there when you need them or with little treats but never intrusive! The Quinta is beautiful, a true oasis, with attention to every detail, including the breakfast area and the pool area. The breakfasts are prepared by Helena using local products and are excellent. We stayed in the annexe and had a great time, clean, comfortable and with just the right amount of privacy. The hosts were concerned that we might be a bit annoyed by the noise because the motorway is nearby but honestly, it is not a problem at all and they do provide earplugs if you need them. Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights, we would have gladly stayed longer!

Surrounded by stunning nature, this place has a great atmosphere. That, accompanied by the very warm and friendly hosts, made our stay very enjoyable. Also, the breakfast was great. Last, and most important in my opinion, is that our kids also loved it - The cats, the olive museum, the nature trails around the place, all gave them enough to keep occupied.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!

This hotel had a lot of character, since there was an old (recycled) Farmacy, with original furniture, in the ground floor, comfortable rooms with double windows to protect us from the noise of the busy street (this was a fantastic idea from the owners - it makes a difference). No breakfast but coffee and muffins.
Gorgeous guest house. We were there for the Duathlon. Perfect location for that. In walking distance to restaurants and bars. Safe and secure free parking a short walk away. Comfy, spacious room. Sofia was amazing, gave us a map of the area and all the places to go and see. When we left for Porto she gave good recommendations for there as well. We took her advice and ate the famous Franchesina. Thank you.
Although the entrance is not impressive , once you pass the external gate you find a beautiful old farm house with a huge yard, vegetable garden, chickens and trees. The room was very comfortable, and our host,Lydia did what ever she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible ,as well as lots of recommendations as to where to go and what to do.Breakfast was very good.We shall certainly return.
Lovely farm stay about 5 minutes out of Coimbra. House is relatively modern and new and within a gated property. Our host, Silvia, who was the manager there, was very welcoming and accommodating. Nice to have a common lounge room to sit in. Great for families with small children. Goats in the back of the property and two had given birth so we got to cuddle baby goats.
It is an old farm house with a great deal of character. The owner and his wife tried very hard to make things comfortable for us. The property was clean and comfortable.
Truly a unique property that was charming, bucholic as well as very cosmopolitan. The hosts, Lidia and Luis, were amazing and totally attentive and helpful. Chickens for fresh egg breakfast and totally contemporary accommodations in an age old farmhouse. Phenomenal!
