The location was ideal as we wanted to walk the arouca 516. It is only 10 to 15 mins walk away. Also the setting is really pretty. The village is close by with a good choice of cafes and a really good restaurant.
The breakfast was good, and I wasn't expecting freshly cooked delicious scrambled eggs.
Also if the weather had been better I would have taken advantage of the lovely pool and jacuzzi. I would definitely stay again. The rooms are clean and comfortable and downstairs are a range of sitting areas.

Such a nice little hidden away place. Not the best if you are looking to tour the Douro but for what we wanted it was perfect. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice outdoor area to go explore the water fall. Good facilities & well equipped kitchen. Perfect place to stay with a dog. Would have been nice to stay longer. Make sure you get supplies from one of the bigger towns on the way there.

Everything was perfect. I will definitely come and stay again, it is a tranquil and beautiful location. Fatima is an excellent host.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
The property and area was very serene , quiet, and beautiful. The place was interesting and cozy. I wish we stayed longer. I highly recommend this place, although there might be some who think this place is too rustic.
