This place exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made you feel like a part of their home. The location is exceptional - walking distance from a beautiful local beach that is far less crowded than other Algarve beaches. The setting was relaxing and the daily breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at an accommodation. We were so delighted and recharged from our stay - thank you Felipe and team!

The agriturismo is in an interesting area where many former farms are in ruins. It is interesting to see two generations take over a farm built by two earlier generations and move it into a 21st century farming methodology - using organic methods. The lodging was very comfortable and roomy and very clean and the small kitchen was well equipped. The briefing on organic farming was informative and we were made very welcome by our host. Although deep in the countryside, this would make a good base for car tourists for visiting many Algarve attractions without having to stay among the bustle of busy seaside towns. And a good base for radial tours outwards for cyclists who want to sample beaches and mountains.

Simple, rustic, with basic equipment in the room, but everything is made special by the kind and thoughtful welcome from Ingeborg, who prepares a big and great breakfast with her own hands (delicious honey and jam) and gives lots of useful advice. A stone's throw from the beautiful Bordeira beach.
