Looking for a farm stay?
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!

I loved everything about this property. It was clean, warm, very stylish, great location and had beautiful rural views overlooking the city as well.

Lovely friendly hosts that communicated well and provided us with excellent driving instructions to find the location. We loved that the Loft was warm and cozy and had all the comforts we needed while away from home. We were touched by the home made brownie snack left in the kitchen for us. We felt very welcomed on the farm and enjoyed our short stay very much.

We enjoyed hearing the sounds of cows moo'ing on the farm and watching the cows doing cow things. The cottage itself was very cosy, decent size for the two of us and came with many options for breakfast (bread, jams, butter, milk, fruit, homemade baking and even some chocolate treats). The cottage was in a good location, pretty equally distant to three towns. During our stay Paula came and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed - and even dropped off some feijoas.

Waitomo is a motor lodge and has no breakfast facility, however Bosco Cafe across the road was very good. I would describe Waitomo as more up scale rustic as motor lodges go. The room is large and spacious and includes nice skin care products. The staff was very nice and asked if we required additional items. Paid laundry on the premises was great.

This was the best property we stayed in on our 2 week road trip around Nth Island of NZ. And we stayed at some posh places (5 Star, etc.). Blown away with this farm stay. Such a lovely people. Great accommodation with every amenity. So peaceful and relaxing. If you're visiting Waitomo caves of anywhere in the area - Stay here. It's beautiful
