We searched for properties using filters, one of which was ‘Swimming pool’ only to arrive and be told, that the pool was closed. … The pool was green with algae.
It appears that we were one of 3 tables for breakfast, and of course, the standard was nothing like what we expected.
This hotel can hardly be described as a ‘resort’ hotel. Our stay was in May, so the start to the season.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Very stylish rustic room, not to mention the dining area which is just full of charm and history. Easy communication with the staff via WhatsApp if you need anything when they are not around (as is typical in Italy, most businesses are closed in the afternoon).
