A true hidden gem. Giulia and Federico are the consummate hosts and we felt very welcomed with their warm hospitality. Every detail and modern convenience is thought of - comfortable beds and whisper quiet air conditioning made for a great sleep. You can tell Giulia’s background in design from the very tastefully appointed rooms and common areas seamlessly blending modern with the traditional. The breakfast was exceptional, including fruits and jam grown on site and farm fresh eggs, as well as local meats and cheeses. We’ve stayed at many an agriturismo in Italy and this one just might be our favorite.

Loved the property and location. very comfortable and a great breakfast. The couple that own the property couldn’t have been any friendlier or accommodating. Parking at this property was a plus. highly recommend
Podere Giovanni Olivo is offering accommodations in Tarquinia. The farm stay also offers free Wifi, free private parking, and facilities for disabled guests.
Agriturismo Podere Giulio is in Tarquinia’s quiet countryside. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and free deck chairs and sun umbrellas to take to the private beach, one mile away.
For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
It was very comfortable, easy to find and the parking was good. The outside area was particularly lovely, you can access the garden from every room.
Perfect location for Tarquinia which is fascinating for the Etruscan Necropolis and walled town. Easy access also to the beach.
It’s not posh but a comfortable farmhouse. Perfect for a few days.
it’s a beautiful relaxing environment. beautiful sights , birds are signing, so so quiet. I loved everything about this place, from the staff to the food, decoration and off course brandy !! the food is form local farm and has its own distillery with gold wining medal brandy!!
We stayed at Civico Zero Resort for one night on our way south to catch our flight out of Rome after a week of driving around rural Tuscany. It was a bit of a funny place to get to, but it was affordable, quiet, and clean (we were there in the off-season, so mid-April). They let us check in early, which was great because it allowed us time to visit and have dinner in the nearby town of Tarquinia, which is charming. The included breakfast was also surprisingly good.
Everything :) We had the appartement that was a bit separated from the others. Thus we had a lot of our own space. Great for self-catering but we had breakfast included, fresh fruit and jams from the farm itself. Freshly home baked goodies and more...
Fun to have the option to go to the beach or relax at the pool.
The best accommodation we had during our travels through Italy. A beautiful Agriturismo accommodation, just walking around is very nice, the nearby Tarquinia is a breathtaking place with Etruscan tombs and museum, we should have spent more than two days, definitely worth coming back one day, for longer. Very helpful owners, nice people. Silent place.
What I liked best was the feeling I got of being part of a family - the atmosphere was relaxed, rural and totally Italian. The agritutrismo is part of a working farm and we enjoyed some of its produce. The restaurant on site is excellent, both in terms of price and the quality of the food and wine. Its situation is only a five minute drive from the town of Tarquinia and only slightly further to the coast at Lido di Tarquinia. We couldn't have been happier or more relaxed. Doriana was absolutely fantastic.
We had an absolutely awesome experience here. The farm is very peaceful, and we enjoyed just being here and listening to the birds. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Gramy is an exceptional hostess, very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed getting to know her, and she made this a very special experience for us.
