Wow! What a place tucked in on the Saint Francis Way hiking path in the Village of Poreta, Borga Della Marmotta was the type of oasis on hopes for at the end of a long day of hiking. Beautiful property, modern rooms, a truly outstanding restaurant with Frederico and his friendly, happy staff making the one night's stay having us wishing we could have stayed for longer. Consensus of the group was that Borga Della Marmotta was the type of property that one might return to just to enjoy the ambience of the property and area as a one off vacation.

Lovely country estate. Quite a distance from town of Spoleto … but there was a beautiful restaurant about 10-15 minute drive. Nice display of pastries for breakfast. Home grown plums.

The property is beautiful with breathtaking views in every direction. The rooms are very spacious and you have great privacy. They keep the decorations true to the setting, but still very comfortable. I recommend you eat dinner at the location. The food is awesome and the service is great. It is such a wonderful family that runs the place.

The breakfast was abundant and fresh. In general, the on site restaurant was high quality. The staff is super professional. The views from the Agriturismo balcony onto the town of Spoleto, an easy drive away, are gorgeous. In warm weather, it would be a breathtaking spot to have dinner. Spoleto is a treasure, and the Agriturismo is well-located for visiting this town. Easy parking.

A beautifully restored farmhouse out and away from the traffic/city.
Luana and Marco were the best hosts so helpful with restaurant ideas, sights to see. We wanted to lay low one evening to have pizza and wine at the house and they accommodated us with wine glasses, plates. 10/10 hosts and B&B.
Fantastic, so friendly they looked after us very well. Susanna, son Niccolo and all the family and staff are wonderful hosts. I can't wait to come back again it is superb. The views are unbelievable I tried to paint some views but nothing compares to being here. Beautiful breakfast served every morning. You can book to join the evening meal, we sid this several nights, food is all freshly prepared and alot is grown on their organic farm, beans, asparagus etc. Susanna kindly gave us a tour of the farm and the animals.
A wonderful stay at the Villa on my "Via di Francesco". The Villa is between Trevi and Spoleto in Poreta and is a great place to relax in rural italy after the busy Towns. Beautifull Villa with a very spacious room. The host is very helpfull and offered me the choice of either have a local make me a simple diner or bring me to a restaurant. I did chose the simple dinner (bread, tomato, egg, vegetable pie) which was a delight.
Charming farm stay in the hills just outside of Spoleto. The hosts were warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They also gave us excellent recommendations for new places to check out in the area. We loved the dinner with fresh products from the farm! We hope to be back in the summer to take advantage of the activities available on the grounds.
A stunning and stylish conversion of an ancient farmhouse in a gorgeous position overlooking olive groves and oak woods. The family are really welcoming and thoughtful. Would love to have stayed for months.
Everything about this property was fabulous. Situated outside of Spoleto, this is a reception place as well as hotel. It has a wonderful restaurant with first class food, amazing pool and farm animals if you have children.The room was modern as was the whole property. The shower recess was a little small for my husband but adequate for me. The whole property is very clean with lovely gardens and very large car park. The staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.
