Looking for a farm stay?
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. My stay at Moate Lodge was great! It’s a beautiful, old (18th century) stone farmhouse on a working farm. The hosts, Mary and Raymond, are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the full Irish breakfast was delicious. I would gladly stay again!

We had a brilliant stay with our children. The owners did their best to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was beautiful, the surroundings were quiet and tranquil, and you aren't too far from towns, open farms, and attractions.

The farm was neat to see and hear about. The authentic house from when our country (US) became a country was neat to learn about and experience.

We vacationed in Ireland for 10 days, and of all the b & b's we stayed at, this was our favorite. Mary was a sweet and welcoming host. We got to walk around their farm and watch the cows being milked. There was a large selection for breakfast with homemade baked goods and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Many places claimed to have homemade baked goods, but this was the real thing. I highly recommend Ballindrum Farm.

Beautiful historic farmhouse bed and breakfast in a peaceful area. Breakfast was amazing with fresh eggs, breads and homemade preserves. Mary and Raymond are exceptional hosts and we enjoyed talking with them. We would definitely stay again!
