Mollies Hut, hotel in Frome

Located on a working farm in Trudoxhill village in the Somerset countryside, Mollies Huts offers adult-only accommodations in traditional shepherd’s huts.

Lovely welcome from the host, including a fresh cake as well as the breakfast included. They lit a candle on the table outside our hut and put the fairy lights on ready. Perfect, quiet getaway and could see the stars in the sky. We are looking forward to planning another stay here.

Lovely, cosy farmhouse room. Great facilities and very friendly hosts. Lots of info if needed about the town and nearby attractions. Lots of privacy even with being in the main house. Very helpful when I had an issue with the TV. Loved the fresh milk, fridge and wine glasses etc. Very well equiped.

Lovely rural location, peaceful and quiet. All on one floor with plenty of space for two people. Hosts very welcoming and checked we were OK throughout our stay. It is a working farm and would have been lovely to have seen the cows in the field but it was too wet.

Beautiful location and as I am disabled it was a very convenient room...room 3 ....with the car just nearby. Having the sitting room in the farmhouse was a real bonus as I had no comfortable chair in the bedroom and was able to sit and read. Perhaps a little more space on the serving table at Breakfast would help as you try to help yourself to the cereals and things. Everything was really execellent.

Staff very friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast filling and with many options each day, including vegan for my wife. Very close to A361 to get out to places (e.g. Longleat), but still set in a village with a lovely rural feel. Helpful link with village pub (pleasant 5 minute walk) to get a hearty meal on the first night when we had arrived. Room nicely furnished, bathroom and shower both very large. Added bonus of animals on site - pony, chickens, geese, dogs etc that gave a very genuine farm feel.
