This is my second time staying at Casa Ondarre, first with family and now with friends. The farm is beautiful and the host family is very kind and helpful. The accommodations were just what we needed. The location is great, allowing for a nice walk or 3 minute drive to the main square in Segura. We loved seeing the sheep and our tour learning about the cheese making process.
Neco and his family showed wonderful hospitality. Spacious and convenient, we enjoyed one of the apartments available, along with some stargazing off the patio. It was lovely to learn about sheep farming and cheese making, as well as experience Segura across the street and the festival there that we were lucky to encounter.
Great home base for excellent hikes all around guipuzkoa, and very close to Ordizia and its Wednesday cheese market.

What a warm welcome at a local farmer. We have been there for 2 nights before returning home from our holiday. Eneko makes his own cheese and talks about it with a lot of passion. He showed us around and we could taste the cheese. Nice accomodation in a nice village with everything you need and also nice views.
PS buy some cheese when you bring a visit ;-)
