For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
These volcanic islands have a wild charm about them, and the climate is a real attraction, but a comfy hotel as a base is a real bonus. I chose right-this one is lovely, really welcoming hosts and very attractive building layout. A small choice of evening meals, home cooked was great for me. Hire car worked well to explore the island, not sure how you'd manage without your own transport-NB it IS rural.
Unit is an eco-shed in the back of a garden in a rural setting. Very well maintained and spotless on arrival. Unit is self-catering with almost all facilities you need. Owner was very amenable to delayed arrival. The lady that greeted me was very helpful in replacing the gas tank.
100% recommend staying here if you want to stay somewhere quiet and rural. Our room was spacious, and really well decorated- very modern with traditional style (also has a hot tub bath!) the whole hotel is really nice too. The owner is a legend, super kind and attentive and helped us when we were stuck as our taxi didn’t arrive.
Thank you again!
Amazing place (if like us you are looking for a quiet rural location with the added bonus of a pool). kind staff and owner, everything marvelous. Will be recommending to all and sundry
The Hotel has the quiet rural charm of the traditional Canary Islands. The rooms were very large with rustic furnishings in keeping with the buildings. The gardens were well kept with great views of the surrounding countryside.
Breakfast was very good with fresh rolls, meats, fruit, cereals and yoghurts. We had a large family celebration in the evening for 24 people and the restaurant food was absolutely fabulous. We will definitely be returning.
Peaceful location, Rustic and being able to check in online and just collect the key from a safe box.
The continental breakfast was plentiful and had a good selection .
There was a little local bar in the nearby village which was just a short walk away called El Rincon.Very friendly and the Sardines were delicious.
