Frankie the manager made our stay amazing and comfortable, he was always available in person or by wechat, helped us arranged everything from meals, tickets, transport, and much more. He also expertly guided us through the national park, picked and dropped us to the gate anytime. We thank him and the team for an amazing stay. Small hostel run by local, shows what you would expect in such a rural part of china but overall it was great.

Carol was so helpful. She arranged a taxi for myself and my friend when we arrived at the train station, and the driver took us to an ATM to get cash out. She was always on hand to help with any queries or concerns. The set up of the hostel breakfast/dinner allowed us to meet other people and have an enjoyable rural experience.
Unique place with a wonderful rustic feel. Loved our large room. Breakfast was better than expected compared to other places we stayed. Once their driveway is complete it will be a top choice for the area. Staff was extremely helpful.

Carol was 100% amazing to us and provided us with everything we needed and amazing tips for our days and how to seize the most of them. The rest of the family was also very kind and we really enjoyed our dinner meals! :)
Amazing stay inside the National forest park, there is a beautiful tea farm very clean and good sunset views. The staff was warm and helpful to assist with booking attractions and all other requirements before we came. Nice breakfast and delicious meal from restaurant. Worth everything.
The location was perfect for us who wanted a serene environment. The feel of countryside and farm was both refreshing and relaxing.
The hosts Lucas and Eason were both friendly and helpful. The suggestions for our 3-day itinerary around the national park were very useful - we saw most of the popular sights as well as some less frequented by most tourists.
Finally, the breakfast and dinner in Whispering Mountain were wonderful.
Stunning views from the balcony, cheap for what you get! The bath outside got a little dirty (expected with rural location) and they were quick to clean it. Staff were very friendly, Tim guided us through how to make the most of our trip and organised taxis for us. They had a card reader for paying which worked well, this is the only hotel on our stay in china where they offered this service. Pool table and large large lobby. Rooms were huge too.
We had a wonderful stay. It was clean and quiet, beautiful views of the mountains. Very easy communication with Lucas who was very welcoming, and arranged drivers/ tours for us. Can easily walk to the West gate of the park. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable beds. We had most breakfasts and evening meals in the hotel, there was a good variety, but worth planning ahead if wanting to eat out as location is fairly rural.
