Chez Pierre in Knysna features free bikes and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Among the various facilities are a garden and a terrace. The guest house features a shared lounge. We are totally 9 persons, we booked 2 rooms with capacity 4 persons, and 1 apartment with capacity 5 persons. When Pierre saw we two family share the apartment with capacity 5 persons, he offer us another room with no charge. Though we said OK for us to live in one apartment twice, he still insist don't want us uncomfortable, and offer us a free room. Really moved for this action when we first night in South Africa.

It’s a pleasure to communicate with the hostess, who is a very interesting and multifaceted personality. Marisa pays attention to details to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is an opportunity to be as autonomous as possible and at the same time use a common space. We had the opportunity to have breakfast and dinner overlooking the bay on a beautiful terrace. The room even included beach towels in a bag. At our request, Marisa gave us a beach umbrella and chairs for our trip to the beach. Very quiet. There were no power outages like in many places in South Africa.

At the tip of Leisure Island and overlooking the Knysna Lagoon, this hotel has an outdoor pool and terrace with panoramic views. Its rooms have a furnished balcony or patio. everything, prime location, staff is great and helpful, room above and beyond , wonderful !

Large clean apartment, well furnished with all one could need, in a quiet beautiful area. Great walking along the shore with lots of birds a few meters away. Host was amazing-very friendly and helpful! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Had everything we needed and became our little statuary . So much support from the host . She made our stay so much easier to navigate . The beds are super comfortable .
