Chez Pierre in Knysna features free bikes and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Among the various facilities are a garden and a terrace. The guest house features a shared lounge. From the moment we stepped through the door of Chez Pierre, we felt completely relaxed. It is a wonderful place to stay with an even more wonderful host and staff. When we arrived, Pierre welcomed us and gave us some tips on what to do in and around Knysna. The kids loved the rabbits and dogs, the breakfast was great and the option to use their bikes to explore the island was perfect. When I got sick, Pierre offered to drive me to the nearby hospital emergency room, which I did not expect and really appreciated. The location is great and it is absolutely safe to walk around Leisure Isle even at night.

Set in Knysna, 30 metres from Bollard Bay Beach, One on Bollard offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. We loved absolutely everything about this place!! Leisure Isle is the best location to stay in Knysna, beautiful and safe. The house itself and guest rooms are decorated with such a great taste that they look like a piece of art! Room is large and very clean, bed is comfortable with the highest quality linen. We stayed in the room Bonny and enjoyed a nice little garden with the private entrance. Diane and Rob are the great hosts, they are very passionate about their place and do everything to make guests feel at home. Breakfast is fresh, rich, unique, diverse and unbelievably tasty! We travel a lot and stayed in many different guest houses in South Africa and other countries, and concluded that One on Bollard is THE best! We highly recommend it to all travelers and no doubt we will come back again!

Located in the Leisure Isle district of Knysna, 12onParkesLane offers accommodation in a private residential home, 3 km from Knysna Heads. Lovely hosts, gorgeous quiet location and a superb little apartment. We had a great time!

Perfectly set in Knysna, Bollard Bay House offers luxury accommodation alongside the Knysna River. The house has an outdoor pool and a bar. Mike and his staff were superb. The upper #1 suite was perfect for a family of four. Would do it again!

At the tip of Leisure Island and overlooking the Knysna Lagoon, this hotel has an outdoor pool and terrace with panoramic views. Its rooms have a furnished balcony or patio. The Inn is stunning with a really comfortable suite (2 bathrooms!). Breakfast was delicious and the views outstanding. The staff were super accommodating and the private shuttle allowed us to overindulge without the worries of drinking and driving!
