The staff was super friendly. They always greeted us and were very interested in knowing how our stay was and what they could do better. The meals were delicious, and the chef was always present to talk with us. The hotel ambiance seems like a small antique palace, which makes you feel like a prince. Upon our arrival, we were received with a non-alcoholic cocktail.

The Great Gatsby Hotel in Houghton is straight out of a dream. It's gorgeous and one of the prettiest I have stayed in. My room, the Library, was my dream room. Cosy and beautiful, I could have stayed there for days, devouring all the books. This hotel is beautiful and offers warm hospitality and attentive service. It's set in a lovely neighbourhood, although in Johannesburg, that means little as you cannot walk freely in the city. For a different and unique experience in Johannesburg, do not hesitate to book here.

Fabulous property only 30 minutes from ORTambo in a quiet neighbourhood. Room was a fantastic size with a large outdoor space and including a hot tub. Excellent choice if you need s a little bit of luxury or a hideaway for a layover
