Brilliantly located in Cape Town, we found it so easy to see the sites when we were not relaxing in the hotel. The old-world charm just made you feel at home but by far and away the best thing about Mount Nelson is the staff....each and every person we interacted with were so friendly and helpful.

Set in a tropical garden, this guest house is nestled on the lower slopes of Table Mountain and impresses with its elegant interior and magnificent views. Very helpful staff. Always service with a smile. Nothing too much trouble. Located in a leafy suburb, it really was lovely. My phone stopped working for a day, and I couldn’t book a taxi whilst out. A local shopkeeper called the hotel owner who instead of booking a taxi for us, jumped in her car and came and fetched us!!
