Hotel di Near East Side, Chicago

Situated in Chicago’s Lakeshore East neighborhood, this luxury hotel is located in the modern Aqua building. Customer service was great. I wasn't happy with my first room assignment. I explained that I was there for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and wanted nicer accommodations. The room they originally put me in was small and had a view of a roof of the building next door. I was horrified as these rooms are expensive. I spoke with the front desk, and she immediately upgraded me to a better and much bigger room with a nice view of the pool and park. I was very happy after that.
