Chelsea Hotel is situated in Dar es Salaam, 1 km from the City Mall and 1 km from downtown Dar es Salaam. We have decided to take the road trip from Kilimanjaro to Dar, and have arrived a bit tired. The hotel welcomed us with great care and hospitality. The restaurant works until 10 Pm but they kept it open for our group and we were able to enjoy a great dinner. Rooms were great. Breakfast was super. The roof top lounge is great too. 15 minutes by foot Azam ferry to Zanzibar. Highly recommend !

Very clean and well-maintained apartment and also the building's entrance, stairs and lift. Well equipped kitchen, brand new utensils. Owner and caretaker are very helpful and replied very quickly to any queries. Good water pressure in the showers. Reasonable WiFi speed. Good size TV screen
