This was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in: it was a courtyard where you had your own room or little ‘building’. There was a shared space to hang out and to get water or tea. The owners were incredibly kind and had many recommendations for food.

The homestay was also very clean and simply, tastefully decorated. the room was styled in a Japanese way, with a nice corner to drink tea. Bed and pillows were comfortable and we had a very good night's sleep. The location of the homestay was also very convenient, short walk to Anping Old Street for local delights. The homestay owner even sent us a list of recommended places to eat, and all were superb. All of us really enjoyed ourselves.
