Situated in Tainan, 5.2 km from Chihkan Tower, XIUXI Anping Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. New hotel, close to Anping attractions, quiet off-city centre location, very nice and attentive staff, large rooms, food that was included in hotel price was for us a bit too generous, but good quality.

Situated within 4.4 km of Chihkan Tower and 4.6 km of Tainan Confucius Temple, 寶格儷舍 features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tainan. We had a wonderful stay! The room is clean, tidy and spacious. The location is also great. Very close from Anpin main street. The owner is extremely kind and always helped us. We can't say thank him enough! We definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent location in Anping - most of the big attractions are less than a 15 minute walk away. Visited during the late summer and it was really easy to head back to the hotel for a break from the sun. 24hr tea / coffee and biscuits!

Host Vivi was very kind and professional. She does not speak English but she had a whole system with a translation app to provide a tour and explain the amenities in English - so clever! The room was clean and comfortable with a nice shower.

Friendly staff and close to great restaurants and sights. Rooms were cleans and comfortable. A water machine was available for tea and filling our water bottles.

Featuring sea views, Dear B&B provides accommodation with patio, around 4.5 km from Chihkan Tower. The property has river and garden views, and is 4.7 km from Tainan Confucius Temple. This home stay was fantastic! The owners were in touch with me prior to my arrival and helped me find the home stay and let me check in early. They even upgraded my room! This was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in: it was a courtyard where you had your own room or little ‘building’. There was a shared space to hang out and to get water or tea. The owners were incredibly kind and had many recommendations for food.

Boasting lake views, 日日和 features accommodation with balcony, around 5.1 km from Chihkan Tower. This was our favorite lodging during our 3 week stay in Taiwan! Here are several reasons why: 1. Our hosts. The owner and his wife are some of the kindest and most generous people we have met. The owner is a 3rd gen Tainanese and graciously shares his knowledge about the area with suggested itineraries and what and where to eat. He would ask us every evening what we wanted for breakfast and then go out early in the morning and buy everything and bring it back to the minsu for us. One time, we mentioned we were a bit tired and would take a nap. When we woke up and went downstairs, we found a delicious mochi snack waiting for us, courtesy of the owner! 2. Location, location, location. It's a 2-4 min walk to four of the most visited sites in Tainan: the Anping Old Fort, the Anping Kaitai Tianhou Temple, the Tait & Co. Merchant House with the Anping Tree House and finally, Anping Old Street. 3. Parking. We had a car and the free parking was 30 feet away from the minsu entrance! 4. Peaceful and relaxing. Both the owner and his wife studied design and it shows in all the of the beautiful, simple, loving touches they added to the common area and rooms. I particularly liked the photography books and my daughter, who also studied design, loved the wife's playful, whimsical drawings. When we left, the wife generously gifted one of her drawings to my daughter! 5. Super clean and newly built (I believe around June 2023). It's like staying at an unpretentious 5-star hotel, lovely room with fabulous bed, sheets, towels, bathroom, etc., and on top of that you're treated like family. Finally, last but definitely not least, our hosts give back to their community. They often host free classes at the minsu. The husband enjoys photographer and has taught kids how to develop film; the wife loves drawing and has hosted many different types of art classes. We loved our hosts and we loved our stay at 日日和!
